Wakefield Conservative Association is a strong growth area for the Conservative Party in the North of England. In the recent council elections Horbury and Ossett (HOCA) has seen success by returning 4 Conservative Councillors to WMDC.
HOCA is a modern forward thinking branch made up of likeminded people with a common belief that their district council should be controlled by Conservative Councillors.
The branch aims are to improve the well being of residents by reducing Local and Government interference. To allow individuals, families, voluntary groups and businesses to determine and plan their future knowing it will benefit the local community.
In conjunction with a Conservative Government we will endeavor to reduce local taxation and reduce red tape to allow business to drive the local economy and contribute to both the national and global objectives.
Conservatives support community life the family, neighborhood and the nation. This involves helping and working for those that need assistance – OAP’s, children in need of guidance and all those who need help and support. We need to care for the environment which we hold in trust for future generations. We need to cut through the red tape and political correctness which has been developed by spin and increased state interference and control.
We are offering you an opportunity to join our group and help us to make a difference. To achieve we need people with the drive and determination to go that extra mile for the good and benefit of all the residents of the community. If you feel you are that person we would very much like to hear from you.
David Cameron: "Only we Conservatives have the new ideas and the long-term policies to give people more opportunity and power over their lives, make families stronger and society more responsible, and make Britain safer and greener.
